Projects |
Orphanage Sponsorships provide for basic needs such as food, medical care, medicine, hygiene products, clothes, shoes, bedding and more. |
Special Projects provide "extra things" such as new windows, building repairs, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, and industrial food equipment. |
Infant Nutritional Programs were started due to a desperate need for food. Formulas are often watered down to ensure each child receives a meal. However, this diluting of the formula means that children are not receiving the nutrients needed to grow and develop physically and cognitively. |
Work Trips provide volunteers the chance to see first hand the precious children living in orphanages. Volunteers do many things on these trips—clean, paint, do yard work, repair things...but the most important thing the volunteers do is simply hold, love and play with the children. |
Textbook/Education Programs are aimed at educating both the children in orphanages and the caregivers. This provides orphans with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed when on their own. The program also provides caregivers with child development skills to teach them how important love and other basic needs are to the developing children. |
The Annual Christmas Project is an annual event that provides children the opportunity to experience the joy of Christmas. The donations to this cause purchase decorations, a Christmas dinner, a Christmas party, and such rare treats as sweets, fruits and gifts for the children. |
